Courier Deliveries
- Couriers must come through the rear entrance to the building and go to the Security Office/Post Room
- Motorcycle couriers must remove their helmets on arrival to 10 Bloomsbury Way
- Couriers delivering or collecting large items or items requiring the use of trolleys must use the Rear Entrance.
- THERE IS NO DEDICATED PARKING SPACES AVAILABLE FOR DELIVERIES.
Trolley Deliveries
All deliveries of goods, which are large or require the use of a trolley must be made via the Rear Entrance and Goods Lift.
- No deliveries are to be made through the civic areas, main lobbies or forecourt areas without the prior approval of the 10 Bloomsbury Way Building Management.
- Trolleys are not permitted in the passenger lifts or in the lobby areas of 10 Bloomsbury Way under any circumstances.
- Delivery trolleys must be shod with
white rubber or other similar tyres that will not mark or damage floor
coverings within the property.
Loading Dock and Goods Lift Operations
The rear entrance is situated off Bury Place. An intercom for after hour's access exists on the right side of the rear entrance door on Bury Place.
- The rear entrance is available to be used 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and is manned by security guards during this time.
- The security guard will on behalf of the tenants sign off delivery dockets and then arrange for the tenant to transport the goods via the goods lift.
However, in the case of deliveries such as photocopier machines, fax machines and computer equipment the attendant will notify the tenant of such a delivery and the tenant would need to come to the security room/post room to accept such deliveries.
Under no circumstances is the loading dock to be used as a storage area by tenants. 10 Bloomsbury Way Building Management accepts no responsibilities for any goods received on behalf of tenants particularly in respect to the following:
- Any
discrepancies between delivery advice docket and actual goods
delivered. However, the dock attendant will in good faith endeavour to
check the actual goods supplied to the delivery advice docket.
- The condition of the goods supplied.
- For any goods left on the loading dock or the lockup area for whatever reason.
Good Lift Procedures
- The Goods Lift accesses all floors and operates 24 hours a day.
- Please ensure all deliveries/removal of
goods are made via the Loading Dock and the Goods Lift.
Deliveries/removals are not permitted across the main foyer.
- Under normal circumstances, the goods lift cannot be booked and is available only on a "first come first served" basis.
- The Goods Lift is also used in
emergency situations such as fire, ambulance and police matters as well
as a transportation vehicle for the movement of mobility disabled
people.
Rubbish and Recycling
The building rubbish and recycle bins are also situated in the carpark.
